Haruka Seri (芹 遙香 Seri Haruka) is one of the oldest of Shinoyama's Divers and the beautiful, intelligent and cool-headed partner of Kaede Misawa. Before the Burst, Haruka was an artificial life form researcher. Well-versed in scientific equipment, she prefers efficient tactics that leverage her prior experience in sharp contrast to her partner Kaede's reliance on intuition. She shows strong interest in Malignant Matter.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
- The name Haruka means "far off, distant, long ago" (遙) (haru) and "fragrance, fragrant" (香) (ka).
- Haruka's surname Seri means "celery" (芹).
